Step back in time and immerse yourself in a captivating glimpse into Tasmanian history with a guided tour of the heritage-listed Cape Bruny Lighthousethe southernmost lighthouse tour in Australia. Perched high on the windswept cliffs of Cape Bruny, this iconic structure has withstood nearly two centuries of roaring seas and wild Southern Ocean winds.

Built by convicts in 1836, the lighthouse stands as a proud sentinel over Bruny Island’s rugged coastline, its light once guiding countless ships through treacherous waters.

As you explore its weathered walls and climb the spiral stairs to the lantern room, you'll hear haunting tales of shipwrecks and the harsh, isolated lives of the lighthouse keepers who once called this place home.

Step out onto the balcony for breathtaking 360-degree views, where the vast ocean stretches endlessly to Antarctica and the dramatic cliffs drop away beneath your feet.

Our passionate local guides bring Cape Bruny’s history vividly to life. Many have deep roots on the island, including our founder, Craig Parsey, who spent his childhood on Tasmanian lighthouse stations, Cape Bruny among them. His personal connection infuses every tour with a sense of authenticity, nostalgia, and heartfelt storytelling.

This is more than just a tour, it's an unforgettable journey into Tasmania’s maritime past, set against some of the most stunning coastal scenery in the world.
