Relaxing, educational and well-paced walk. Walk duration: - up to 5 hours with picnic lunch near the beach and morning tea in the bush.

Experience spectacular scenery and indulge in delicious Bruny Island produce on this full-day tour, whilst learning about the small animals and birds that live in the bushland, lagoons, and dunes.

Our guide will tell you all about the plant life you see and even taste some of the edible plants along the way.

The Cape Queen Elizabeth Track provides coastal heathland, spectacular scenery, Big and Little Lagoons, birdlife and beaches. The first part of the walk takes you along a track parallel with the Bruny Island air-strip, then runs between Big Lagoon and Little Lagoon, before steeply ascending Mars Bluff for stunning views across The Neck and unspoiled beaches. Stop for a cup of tea or coffee (We carry a turbo boiler) and some locally made fudge. The track follows the bluff before descending through the dunes onto the remote Miles Beach, with time for a quick swim for those who are keen. Here you can enjoy a casual and delicious packed picnic lunch, featuring local produce, before spending more time exploring the coast.

After the walk, your guide will drive you to the Truganini Lookout and Neck Wildlife Zone and viewing platform. Followed by a visit to local Bruny Island food producers, including stops at Bruny Island Honey and Get Shucked Oyster Farm and Bar. Depending on the weather, we either stay at the oyster bar to indulge in the freshly shucked oysters or collect the oysters and head off to another little coastal area to enjoy with a local cider.

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels.
